Find the correct owner
The airline operates the flight; the ticket issuer often services the refund.
If you booked directly with an airline, use its manage-booking or refund channel. If you booked through Travelstart or another agent, submit the request to that seller unless the instructions say otherwise.
Prepare the booking reference, ticket number, passenger names, payment proof and the reason for the request. Incomplete documentation slows the process.

Protect the claim
Do not destroy the evidence while trying to fix the trip.
Save the original itinerary, fare conditions, payment record, cancellation notice and every written response. Record dates, reference numbers and what was offered.
Do not mark a booking as voluntarily cancelled until you understand whether the airline has already cancelled or materially changed the flight. The wording can affect how the request is handled.
